Getting married? Congratulations!
As an ordained minister, under the Universal Life Church until I can make TCOBC official, I am vested with the power of conjuring marital unions. It has been my great pleasure to do so, and I would be honored to be considered for your union as well.
My pleasure in these unions deride not from the antiquated idea that god favors the wed, but from a sincere belief, so eloquently stated by Mark Vonnegut, that we are here on earth to help each other get through this thing, whatever it is. There is no greater ally in that quest than a spouse, someone who has committed themselves to be by your side through good times, bad times, and everything in between. It is that aspect, the creation of a partnership declared to be in pursuit of permanence, and to the end of increasing the unconditional love and friendship everyone of us needs, that gives me joy.
I would not recommend myself for services of a traditionally religious nature, I am not qualified to come up with 20 minutes worth of material on how happy you are making Jesus, or any other deity, by getting married. But, if you two wish to have the love between yourselves celebrated, that is a message I am capable of conveying. I would certainly want to meet with the both of you first, learn your story, and work together in crafting a sermon that speaks to all of the reasons you and your beloved are tying the knot.
Feel free to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can get started. Congratulations again!
Benjamin from the Church of Black Coffee is one of the most talented and interesting people you will ever meet. He is a natural-born wordsmith, deeply intuitive, caring, creative, and overall just has an awesome personality. Our intimate outdoor wedding was made all the more memorable thanks to his personalized sermon. His words were warm, engaging, romantic, and he had perfect comedic timing. Everything was just so wonderful and true to how we are as individuals and as a couple, we’re so happy he was there and wouldn’t have it any other way!
